Gravestones at All Saints Farley

A fascinating church, all straight lines and upright, surrounded by old, sagging buildings. As if it was a puritan rebuking them for their dissolute lifestyle. As I was sketching a man on a ride about mower decided he absolutely, positively had to ride up and down directly in front of me. Ignoring the large area of uncut grass directly behind me on the other side of the path to the front door.

While caravanning in Wiltshire my son, Harry (4 1/2), really took to the chickens roaming around the campsite. I'd often find him wandering or sitting quietly cuddling a chicken. This was two of his chums on our last day.

Two sketches from this afternoon on the ignite course and one from the church green this morning.

The last for tonight

Alex Boxall at Netley Methodist, seriously hugging one of his offspring

The delightful Emily MacSorley, again at Netley

The amazingly talented Lauren Wade at Ignite.

And there's more (one night with the King)

These are from a choir event my wife was involved in at a lovely church in Wilton.

More church sketches

Two from the Burn Conference and one from West End Church

More sketches

Cave time is passing, more drawing is being done.

Over a year without a post. Lots of sketches to scan and catch up

Batch 1 These were all drawn in a church environment of some kind, some at Ignite, some in church and some at a conference.
John and Alex, my two favourite eastern Europeans
